Winter Clothing Drive to Benefit Caritas of Port Chester

The Stars and Stripes Club at CW collected winter clothing for Caritas of Port Chester. Through their Open Closet Program, the organization distributes clothing to men, women, and children.

Nellie Capellan, Veterans Affairs at CW led the Clothing Drive drop-off this year, “as members of the military forces of this country, our service can be abroad but is also in our own communities. There are families in need of warm clothing in our community. We will continue to work together to accomplish the mission of inspiring others, while providing service to those that cannot do it by themselves.”

Caritas is a nonprofit organization that provides food, clothing, counseling, and education for anyone in need in the Portchester and surrounding areas.
