Online Courses Drawing A Younger Crowd

Studies looking at the kinds of students applying for an enrolling in online college programs have uncovered insightful data that may help improve programs.

surveyed about 1500 prospective online college students and found that the popularity of online programs is growing among a younger demographic. Though distance learning students have long been assumed to be older, the report shows thirty-four percent of undergraduate online students were under the age of 25 in the spring of 2015, a 25 percent increase from 2012.
