Loaner Mobile Hotspots Help Students Get Online

Online high school and college courses allow more flexible learning. However, for some students, not having Internet access at home puts them at a disadvantage. To help students to get online, Indian Trail High School and Academy in Kenosha, WI gave out mobile hotspot for students to take from and use with school laptops to access online materials. This is one of the ways that schools have begun to address barriers to education advancement. So far, the program has been successful.
