Great American Smokeout

The American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout happens every third Thursday across the country and CW participated in the national campaign “Quit like a Champion.” The students in Dr. Wright’s Anatomy and Physiology II class created several displays to promote tobacco awareness in the Student Center.

According to the ACS there are 42 million Americans smoking cigarettes, and 12.4 million smoking cigars in the US. 2015 marks the 40th annual Great American Smoke out and CW is happy to join the cause and spread the word to live a healthy life and quit smoking.
