It may not always seem this way, but there are millions of jobs out there that need to be filled.  Conveniently, you need a job! So how do you meet your perfect match? 

First, you need to get clear on the types of jobs you’re looking for. Knowing what you want is an important step it’s easy to overlook when first beginning a job search.  Talking with a career counselor at your school can be incredibly helpful when figuring out how to refine your search and present yourself.

Making sure your resume is perfect and you have people willing to be references are two other key steps. You also have to make it easy for recruiters to find you! Using online services that will list your resume and help you narrow your search are important.
