As part of the National Medical Assistant Recognition Week, we asked some Allied Health students why is so important to have a week, dedicated to Medical Assistants. Here’s what they had to say:

•    It recognizes the hard work we put in it every day
•    We are the first person a patient sees. We are a connection between the doctor and the patient
•    Having a week to celebrate our work makes us feel valued
